Bar
Solihull Masonic Temple Ltd. will supply a full bar for you.

Terms and conditions.

The Hall is available for hire at the rates shown below, payable in full at the time of booking. The room is made
available in three sessions and must be vacated by the end of the last session booked. Where multiple sessions are
booked only the highest charge will be payable. There is no reduction in hire charge for sessions not booked.
Morning session 08.00 to 11.00 £55
Lunchtime session 12.00 to 16.00 £55
Evening session 17.00 to 23.00 £110
The hire charge does not include catering or bar.
All catering will be invoiced separately and payment in full will be due on the date of the event. Payment will be
made directly to the caterer.
Bar
Solihull Masonic Hall is able to serve alcohol under the terms of a Club License.
SMT Ltd will provide a complete bar service for you. All bar supplies will be paid for over the counter. Bar staff will
not accept gratuities.
If you do not require SMT Ltd to provide a bar for you, you may NOT serve alcoholic drinks at your event; neither
may you sell drinks of any kind. You may provide soft drinks to your guests provided that the cost of the drinks,
without any element of profit, is included in the event ticket price.
Confirmation of bookings
Verbal bookings and email bookings will remain provisional for 10 working days. Receipt of payment in full within
this period will confirm the booking. Confirmation of booking will be sent by email whenever an email address is
provided. If confirmation of booking is not received, it is the responsibility of the hirer to check that the booking has
been made. The management can accept no responsibility for applications lost in transit.
Cancellation
The following proportion of the hire fee will be refunded in the event of the hirer cancelling the booking:-
Within 14 days 0%
Between 14 and 28 days 50%
At any other time 75%
If, for whatever reason, it is necessary for the management to cancel a confirmed booking, then the limit of liability of
the management will be the return of the payment received.
General
The hire charge includes provision for reasonable cleaning. If the hall is left in an unacceptable condition the hirer
will be invoiced a charge of not less than £20 to cover additional cleaning.
Cheques should be made payable to SMT Ltd.
Solihull Masonic Hall is located in a residential area. Please ensure that your guests vacate the premises in a quiet and
orderly manner to minimise disturbance to our neighbours.
The decision of the management is final.
