Thus one could, for instance, invoke spirits from<br />

completely fictional mythologies (e.g., H. P.<br />

Lovecraft’s fictional demons), as long as they<br />

evoke the proper state <strong>of</strong> mind. Although it does<br />

not exclude the dimension <strong>of</strong> producing external<br />

effects, the focus <strong>of</strong> most chaos magic is the individual<br />

magician, approaching the ritual as psychodrama<br />
