Consumer Complaints More than 25,000 Complaints Filed The Attorney General’s Consumer Information & Complaints (CIC) Unit received 25,124 consumer complaints in fiscal year 2006. For the fourth consecutive year, car sales and repair services ranked as the No. 1 complaint filed. Each complaint is reviewed by a CIC staff member. Many complaints result in enforcement actions against companies or merchants under the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act.
