5. CONCLUSION
In this report we have shown that the <strong>3D</strong> <strong>Holoscopic</strong> <strong>content</strong> with horizontal parallax can be
displayed on commercially available multiview auto-stereoscopic displays. To our knowledge this
the first time this has been achieved. For this study the Alioscopy display has been used.
Part <strong>of</strong> <strong>3D</strong> VIVANT project objectives is to design a <strong>3D</strong> <strong>Holoscopic</strong> display. This study will form the
basis <strong>of</strong> the development <strong>of</strong> the <strong>3D</strong> <strong>Holoscopic</strong> display with full parallax based on a combination <strong>of</strong>
microlens arrays with LCD.
