BIOGRAPHY<br />
Jennifer Hornsby has been Professor of Philosophy at Birkbeck, University<br />
of London since 1995, and has been Co-Director of the Rational Agency<br />
section of the Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature since its inception in<br />
2007. She is an Emeritus Fellow of Corpus Christi College where she was<br />
a Tutorial Fellow from 1978 until 1994. She is a Fellow of the Norwegian<br />
Academy of Science and Letters. She has published work in philosophy<br />
of mind and action, philosophy of language, and on questions about free<br />
speech as they relate, among other things, to pornography. Jennifer was<br />
president of the Aristotelian Society from 1996 to 1997.<br />
