‘Safety Net’ Benefits
In addition to all the core benefits listed, AIA Woman Of Wisdom includes extra
benefits to make this plan complete:
3. Critical Illness Benefit
A lump sum equal to 50% of the Principal Sum or up to S$50,000 will be payable in the
event you are diagnosed with one of the 26 Critical Illnesses listed below:
1. Major Cancer excluding Female Cancer
2. Heart Attack
3. Coronary Artery By-pass Surgery
4. Stroke
5. Major Organ / Bone Marrow Transplantation
6. Kidney Failure
7. Paralysis (Loss of use of Limbs)
8. Muscular Dystrophy
9. Multiple Sclerosis
10. Total Blindness (Loss of Sight)
11. Other Serious Coronary Artery Disease
12. Surgery to Aorta
13. Heart Valve Surgery
14. Alzheimer’s Disease / Severe Dementia
15. Fulminant Hepatitis
16. Primary Pulmonary Hypertension
17. Coma
18. Deafness (Loss of Hearing)
19. Loss of Speech
20. Major Burns
21. Terminal Illness
22. End-stage Lung Disease
23. End-stage Liver Disease
24. Motor Neurone Disease
25. Parkinson’s Disease
26. Aplastic Anaemia
This benefit is only payable once regardless of the number of Critical Illnesses suffered.
4. Death Benefit
In the event of death due to an Accident or any illness or disease which is covered
by the Female Dread Illness Benefit, Female Health Benefit, Critical Illness Benefit or
Maternity Benefit under this plan, AIA shall pay a lump sum of S$10,000.
