Dear Summer Camper!
Welcome to Eriksholm Research Centre! This
rather remote location may seem an unlikely
hotspot for audiology, but over the years
Eriksholm has made many valuable and often groundbreaking
contributions to the field of audiology.
But no matter how exciting our scientific discoveries
may be, they are worthless without you – the
hearing care professional. You represent the front
line when it comes to helping people with hearing
loss. You are the bridge between science and end
user. Together we are forging a strong chain – linking
research to practice, user needs to technology,
and people across borders. That is what the Eriksholm
Summer Camp is all about.
Oticon’s ‘People First’ statement is a promise to empower
people to communicate freely, interact naturally
and participate actively. People First is also
a commitment to always be guided by the needs
of those we serve, where people are our starting
point, innovation is our means, and empowering
people is our shared goal. With this camp we would
like to inspire you and share with you some of the
latest end-user insights, audiological trends and innovations
that can help you empower more people.
Even though our common goal of empowering people
is a serious one, don’t forget that the Summer
Camp is also about making friends and having fun.
