given an OPORD; an operational, integrated system control facility/platform (ISYSCON, RAPTer, NPT,
TNAPS, JNMS, etc.), user requirements, and appropriate references.
Standards: Accepted the plan for inclusion in the OPORD.
Performance Steps
1. Configure the router.
2. Determine connection protocol (PPP, HDLC, X.25, etc.).
3. Determine routing protocol (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, etc.).
4. Determine IP address and subnet mask.
5. Determine network security management requirements.
6. Prepare HSDN/WAN diagram and OPORD appendix.
7. Identify available equipment.
8. Determine gateways.
9. Monitor the status of the network.
10. Report status to higher headquarters.
11. Develop reconstitution and contingency plan for the network.
12. Develop VTC network (H323) IP based.
13. Determine risk assessment.
