Conditions: You are in a Signal Battalion S3 environment and must design a circuit switch network
(EAC, ECB, and Joint). You are given an OPORD, the subscriber requirements, appropriate references,
and status of switching equipment.
Standards: Accepted the plan for inclusion in the OPORD.
Performance Steps
1. Determine the availability of resources.
2. Coordinate higher and adjacent system interface connectivity.
3. Identify area codes and autonomous system boundaries.
