The electron microscopes equipped in SEM unit
are being used as a central facility. The facility has also
been provided to other institutions in spare times. The
unit has provided consultancy in investigating the ultra
structural morphology and micro-analysis of samples

imparted training in Gondwana palynology to Ms. Tarit
Sanga, Research Scholar of the university.
Alpana Singh provided guidance in observation and
quantitative estimation of macerals (both under
normal and fluorescence modes) and in measurement
of huminite reflectance on Panandhro lignite samples
to Mr. Sandip Singh, Research Scholar of
Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra for a period of
two weeks (in June 2011)
