Deadlines: Allow sufficient time for our production staff to
ensure that all elements are correct. Ad material for National
DRAGSTER is due on Thursday, 15 days prior to the issue cover
date. See publication schedule for material deadlines. NHRA
Publications cannot guarantee proper reproduction of the
ad if materials are received after the due date.
Printing process: Offset Web. Stock: Premium Newsprint.
National DRAGSTER is a direct-to-plate publication, so all
advertising must be submitted in a digital format (see
“Digital Information,” pages 23-25). Ads not submitted
digitally will be copy-dot scanned by the printer, and the
advertiser will be billed at the prevailing rate (call your ad
services representative for more information).

Line screen: 133-line screen ruling is preferred. Undercolor
removal not to exceed 280% maximum density.
Recommended aim points are Cyan 80, Magenta 70,
Yellow 70, Black 60. SWOP or DDAP standards apply.
Color rotation: Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow.
Ink density: Your total maximum ink density should not
exceed 260%. Recommended mixture for a CMYK black is
Cyan 40, Magenta 20, Yellow 20, Black 100.
Proofs: If a proof is not delivered with computer art, a
printout charge will be invoiced at prevailing rates.
Late ad material will be subject to additional
handling charges.
