6. PROMOTIONS<br />
• The Centre advertised in the local print media the family fun day on Saturday 31 October<br />
2009.<br />
7. BUILDING, PLANT AND EQUIPMENT<br />
• The following equipment was replaced:<br />
- Dolphin pool cleaner;<br />
- Heat exchanger plates to the 50 metre Olympic pool;<br />
- Electrical circuit to the 25 metre pool pump;<br />
- Mechanical seal to the 25 meter pool pump;<br />
- PH probe to the 25 metre pool chlorine dosing pump;<br />
- RCD on the UV system for the Hydrotherapy pool.<br />
• A service was carried out on:<br />
- Monthly service <strong>of</strong> plant rooms and circulation systems;<br />
- AHU water treatment system;<br />
- Vacuums;<br />
- Front entrance doors (waiting on new motor).<br />
8. HEALTH, SAFETY AND SECURITY<br />
• The chlorine compound alarm has undergone testing on four occasions with no faults during<br />
the month under review.<br />
• Twelve (12) minor first aid incidents with no assistance required from lifeguards. There<br />
were no incidents that were referred to Police <strong>Services</strong>.<br />
9. STAFF<br />
• Currently there are is one staff vacancy for a full time lifeguard (maternity leave).
