CHARACTERISTIC CURVE TRACER
EMG-1 579 TR-4802, 4803 Characteristic Curve Tracer
The instrument serves to measure quickly the parameters of
several circuit components. The characteristic curves of components
to be tested appear on the screen of a cathode-ray tube.
The instrument is suitable fo r accommodating two plug-in units.
The plug-in units are the following:
Amplifier and Tolerance unit EMG-1579-U-71;
Transistor and Diode Test unit EMG-1579-U-72;
Electron Tube Test unit EM G-1579-l,J-73.
With these plug-in units the instrument aan be used two different
operating modes.
EMG-1579-102 (TR-4802) (with U-71, U-72 units) for the testing
of resistances, VD R resistances, tliodes, Zener diodes and transistors.
EMG-1579-103 (TR-4803) (with U-71, U-73 units) for the testing
of resistances, VDR resistances, diodes, Zener diodes, electron
tubes and Nuvistors. Simultaneously, two components can be
tested (reference and tested). The built-in step-generator facilitates
the simultaneous checking of curves corresponding to
several parameters.
