substantiate that, but where walls exist today -- and<br />

there is a wall along the area parallel with Laurel<br />

Road -- that wall is going to be relocated so that the<br />

value and protection of that wall at a minimum won't<br />

be impacted, and it potentially has some opportunities<br />

as the final engineering of that goes through to get a<br />

little bit more protection out of that wall by the<br />

elevation that it'll be placed at. Those details are<br />

still being worked on.<br />

And as we move forward -- but yeah, the wall will<br />

be relocated. Because that wasn't mentioned tonight,<br />

it's not going away. The current plan is to relocate<br />

that wall, push it further back because as the roadway<br />

moves within the alignment and with the shared use<br />

path there, it'll push this wall closer to the edge of<br />

the right of way but it will keep the appropriate<br />

distance from the wall to the sound generator which is<br />

the traffic, to optimize its best placement, to give<br />

the best amount of protection from a structure like<br />

that.<br />

MR. KING: As a secondary benefit it will offer<br />

some security to the neighborhood, too, from the<br />

strangers on the shared path.<br />
