traffic, the configuration of the bridge, the
construction impacts, right of way impacts, and
various environmental criteria.

What's out there now along the highway corridor This
is key to an environmental study because it provides
you with a baseline against which you assess the
potential impacts of your project. And we studied a
whole series of criteria and subject areas from
topography, land use, visual resources, open space,
traffic, safety, air quality, noise, water resources,
fisheries impacts in the Merrimack River, wildlife,
the wetlands along the corridor, flood plains,
historic and archaeological resources, not just the
bridge itself but other features in the area, whether
there's any oil and hazardous materials that exist
along the corridor, impact on existing utilities,
stormwater, what's the economic impact of the project,
and impact on navigation in the Merrimack River.
