RFP Questions & Answers
No. Vendor Question LACCD Answer
1. It is mentioned in the RFP that the response be limited to total 60
pages. Kindly suggest if the resumes of the proposed consultants
are also counted in these 60 pages
2. There seems to be typo on page 10 of 10 on “SAP Upgrade SOW
Ver 1 10 13” regarding project duration. It mentions the start of
project as Feb 1, 2012 . Kindly suggest the likely start date of the
project.
3. In the SOW document - the required resource does not have any
mention of Functional Finance Lead (FI/CO, FM, GM), Functional
Purchasing (MM/IM/PM) lead and ESS lead etc., have not been
mentioned. Does LACCD expect vendor to provide these
resources
4. The pricing form does not ask for Individual Contribution and
Costing. For example, under Classification 3 : Team Members for
“Phase I-Project Preparation", if we have multiple consultants
working, do you want us to provide the total cost or do you want us
to break the cost for each Individual
5. Within SOW Attachment 2, please confirm whether LACCD will
assign a dedicated PM apart from the Vendor PMO.
6. Within SOW Attachment 2, please confirm whether, although
the majority of the work will be done onsite, LACCD would allow
utilization of Offsite and/or Offshore resources
4.7C. Is it 4.7 with enterprise version 2 or 4.6C
10. Is Solution Manager 7.0 or above installed If not, is installation
of Solution Manager part of the scope (it is required by SAP to
have Solution Manager installed for an Upgrade)
11. Is Unicode migration a part of upgrade plan If yes, will it be
done in one cycle (along with upgrade) or two cycles (first
technical upgrade, then Unicode conversion)
Resumes are not included in the page count. However,
resumes should be limited to three pages each.
This should read “Feb 1, 2013”, and be advised that the
contract date is subject to Board of Trustee approval.
