Background
• Our medicinal product candidates (MPCs) are already known peptides, whose
properties and mechanisms of actions are described in a large number of publications
(10’000 to 100’000 for each peptide)
• Many of our MPCs have already been on the market for a different indication or were
tested in humans for a different indication
• Peptides with large amount of literature available constitute the universe for our
Search&Match to find a valid match with one or more rare diseases. Such matches are
further analyzed to become a robust MPC in our pipeline
• Peptides with a larger number of information and studies available are the best
candidates for a viable development strategy, where a fast track to market can be
designed for our licensees, both for safety and efficacy profiles
• Each of our MPCs is a product platform which can be re-directed for a variety of new
indications, in rare diseases and potentially in non-rare diseases
