AMENDMENT PROCEDURES Amendments to this constitution may be proposed by any voting member of the Faculty Assembly, by any faculty body, or by the Faculty Senate. All proposed amendments shall be considered by the Faculty Senate prior to the Faculty Assembly's voting on them. Amendments must be presented in writing to the entire membership of the Faculty Assembly at least one Assembly meeting prior to the meeting in which they will be voted on. A two­thirds vote shall be required to adopt an amendment. ARTICLE VIII. RATIFICATION This constitution shall become effective when approved by a two­thirds vote of the Faculty Assembly and by the President of the College.
