General<br />

<strong>Thermostatic</strong> mixing valves came about by the need<br />

to protect people, especially those most vulnerable,<br />

from scalding by hot water. The Caleffi 5213TM series<br />

TMV’s provide water at safe and usable temperatures<br />

in situations where hot water is often stored and delivered<br />

to outlets at very high temperatures.<br />

Our valve is engineered to rapidly halt the flow of<br />

mixed water in the event of a failure of either hot or<br />

cold supply.<br />

The Caleffi 5213TM series TMV’s come standard with<br />

inline check valves, strainers and isolation valves. Our<br />

valves are available in full stainless steel recessed<br />

lock boxes as an option.<br />
