One of the major advantages of Exceed onDemand Deployment Wizard is the ability to port
the generated HTML and package files to any operating system and any server. Web deployment
packages generated by Exceed onDemand Deployment Wizard can be hosted on any type of web
server regardless of the operating system. For instance, administrators can upload the web deployment
packages to the web server on a UNIX or Windows web server and give their users a URL that points
to the web server.

Installation Settings
The last step in the creation of a Exceed onDemand Deployment Wizard profile consists of choosing
the different modes of download and installation on the end-user workstation and browser.
As explained in the “download mechanisms” section above, Exceed onDemand Deployment Wizard
automatically copies the binaries and user settings to a location on the hard drive in order to reuse the
components on the next client startup. By default, Exceed onDemand Deployment Wizard stores the
binaries into “Program Files” and the user settings under user profiles. However, the administrator
is given the ability to customize those two paths in order to avoid access rights problems.
