Exceed onDemand 5 — A Technical Whitepaper Figure 16 — Display a CAD/CAM application over a remote connection The unique design of Exceed onDemand allows the Proxy to delegate OpenGL API rendering tasks to Exceed onDemand Client, thus relieving the Proxy of the heavy computational tasks. As a result, the proxy can simultaneously handle a larger number of OpenGL API applications. Exceed onDemand 5 — A Technical Whitepaper Users can switch from one language to another “on-the-fly” using the built-in language chooser function. The available languages are determined during the installation. Figure 18 — Select language for the user interface Other Exceed onDemand components are also multi-lingual. The user interface language of Exceed onDemand Deployment Wizard and Exceed onDemand Server Manager is affected by the language selection made in Exceed onDemand Client. Exceed onDemand Server, on the other hand, is English Only. Hummingbird Language Chooser offers an alternative means of altering the language selection. This standalone Windows application is part of Exceed onDemand Server installation on Windows. It allows users to change the user interface language of the following Exceed onDemand components: > Exceed onDemand Client > Exceed onDemand Server Manager > Exceed onDemand Deployment Wizard 39
