Acknowledgement This second book project is the result of my years of experiences as a researcher and an indigene of the Niger Delta to be specific an Urhobo. I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the contributors for the timely submissions of their papers despite tight academic schedules associated with academics these days. The book aims to further raise awareness about the plight of the local people of the region. I am indebted to many people for the successful completion of this book. I must say a big thank you to those who offered advice, criticisms and insights regarding the project. Specifically, I acknowledge the support from my family, especially my wife (MRS EKENE GLORIA OJAKOROTU) and little angels (Amaka & Mia) for their unfailing understanding with me during my long periods of absence from home in order to tidy up the projects.
