About the Contributors:
Akpomuvire, Mukoro (PhD) is on Sabbatical leave from the Obafemi
Awolowo University, Ile-ife to Delta State University, Abraka. He is
currently the Head of the Department of Political Science at Abraka.
He also once served as a Head of Department at the Obafemi Awolowo
University. He has major scholarly works in the field of Public
Administration. These works have come out in the form of books,
contribution to book chapters, Articles in both national and
international journals, monographs and Research findings.
Importantly, he is a consultant on Human Resources Management
and Governance. He has done major works for the Federal
government and the Delta State Government of Nigeria and several
International Bodies including the United Nations. He is currently
researching into the activities of Non-Governmental
Organisation's involvement in Governance in Africa.
Dr L. A. Afinotan is with the Department of Political Science and
Public Administration, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji-Arakeji.
Nigeria
Awoleye Mike is currently a senior research officer at the National
Center for Technology Management (an agency of the Federal Ministry
of Science and Technology), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,
Nigeria.
Clement Odiri Obagbinoko teaches Political Science at the Delta
State University Abraka Nigeria. He obtained a Bachelor of Science
(B.Sc) Degree in Political Science. Second Class (Hons.) Upper Division
at the Edo State University Ekpoma Nigeria; a Master of Science
(M.Sc) Degree in Public Administration from the University of Benin
and a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) Degree also from the University of Benin,
Benin-City Nigeria. He is currently a Doctoral student at the
University of Nigeria Nsukka, Nigeria.
Egbadju Abraham is a lecturer in the Department of Political Science,
Delta State University Abraka. He specialises in Policy Studies,
Comparative Politics and Environmental Politics. He has several
publications to his credit in these fields. He is currently engaged in a
research on Environmental Degradation in the Niger Delta Region of
Nigeria.
Esekumemu Clark holds a doctorate degree from the University of
Vienna. He has published three books and several articles in journals,
