Earth, <strong>the</strong> shrine of <strong>the</strong> universe, is increasingly being<br />
deprived of her value. Although God exclusively cre<strong>at</strong>ed<br />
this world for mankind to practice spirituality, we have<br />
drifted away from <strong>the</strong> ideal to preserve <strong>the</strong> earth, which is<br />
our very temple for salv<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
The ultim<strong>at</strong>e goal in <strong>Sikhism</strong> is to achieve harmony with<br />
God, while remaining earth-conscious. Thus, supporting<br />
environmentalism is a necessity in order to maintain this<br />
world as a spiritual place.<br />
To <strong>at</strong>tain you must first achieve harmony with <strong>the</strong> earth<br />
and cre<strong>at</strong>ion.
