Complex geophysical research of earth CTUST deep structures and<br />

geodynamics of territory of Armenia<br />

More complete data at present about the construction of Earth crust deep structures and geodynamics<br />

of territory of Armenia are obtained on a basis of gravimetric, geothermal, seismological, geodetic and<br />

other geophysical data. The experience of the long-term research in Armenia showed that a complex<br />

interpretation of gravimetric, geothermal, seismological data is the important means of decrease in<br />

multivalence and increase in the truth of constructions of structural - dynamic models of the Earth crust.<br />

As a result of quantitative interpretation of gravitational and thermal fields in a complex with deep<br />

seismic sounding (DSS) data, seismometry, the data of the stations " Earth " and "Turtle" and geodesy<br />

the three-dimensional structural-dynamic model of the Earth crust is plotted in scale 1:200000. It is<br />

stated that the Earth crust of territory of Armenia has a heterogeneous, three-layer structure. The<br />

borders of layers coincide with the surfaces of crystal base, Konrad and Mochorovichich. The localization<br />

places of vertical nonhomogeneties are established coinciding with the zones of deep breaks. According<br />

to the data of velocities of Earth surface modern vertical and horizontal (GPS) motion changes in time of<br />

gravitational and geomagnetic fields, seismic regime, and also a thermal stream, made an estimation of<br />

relative geodynamic activity of blocks as well as its delimited zones of deep breaks. The calculation of<br />

deep temperatures, their changes for the last million years within a frame of the generalized regional<br />

thermal model shows, that near the borders of a volcanic belt of territory of 15-23 km depths, where<br />

the changes in temperatures reaching the order of 10-12-10-13 , are enough for the accumulation of<br />

thermoelastic pressure, exceeding durability of breeds. As a result of complex interpretation of highspeed,<br />

gravitational and thermal models on a structural - dynamic model of seismoactive layer is<br />

allocated, the sole of which is placed at depths of 13-30km according to the data of earthquakes<br />

hypocenters.<br />
