Mario Iván Martínez and artist Adriana Amaya – both all the way from Mexico.<br />

whirlwind tour with Gill Arbuthnott will reveal some of the most astounding<br />

discoveries in modern science. Just be careful – she’ll be looking <strong>for</strong> volunteer<br />

guinea pigs to experiment on in this highly engaging and interactive event!<br />

Eliot Jones, Midnight Superhero!<br />

Eliot Jones may seem like a mild-mannered boy to his parents but at the stroke<br />

of midnight he is trans<strong>for</strong>med into the planet-saving super sleuth everyone<br />

Wonderful Lamp, then create your own magic carpet to fly home on!<br />

Dave McKean<br />

Illustrator, photographer, comic book artist, graphic designer, film-maker and<br />

musician, Dave McKean is a true polymath. Best-known <strong>for</strong> his graphic novel<br />

illustration, he’s worked on Neil Gaiman’s Black Orchid and The Sandman,<br />

D C Comic’s Hellblazer and his own ambitious project, Cages, a graphic novel<br />

exploring artists and creativity which has been six years in the making.<br />

McKean’s debut feature film Mirrormask came out in 2005 and he has also<br />

worked as conceptual artist on the Harry Potter films. Come and meet this<br />

truly talented artist. Perfect <strong>for</strong> teens as well as adults.<br />
