Robin Jenkins was one of Scotland’s greatest writers. To mark the launch of<br />

the Robin Jenkins Literary Award, the first environmental literary award in<br />

this country to celebrate writing inspired by Scotland’s natural landscape, the<br />

author, journalist and broadcaster, Brian Morton, who was a close friend of<br />

Robin Jenkins and is one of the Award judges, will talk about Jenkins's life<br />

and writing.<br />

The Road From Damascus explores journeys towards and away from Islam<br />

Stunning per<strong>for</strong>mer and actor, Steven Berkoff commands the stage<br />

– the world’s food, as he tours, becoming his com<strong>for</strong>t and lover.<br />

Inspirational adventures in Africa. Lois Pryce crossed the entire continent,<br />

in Red Tape and White Knuckles. Annie Hawes returned to North Africa<br />

seeking an oasis from her youth, and describes with warmth and wit<br />

entering deep into that scented, beguiling, complex land.<br />
