Sole and frog are left in great condition. Dispensed directly onto the sole and frog, Equi-Pak is a liquid urethane that sets in 25 seconds. Can be used with or without a pad. Provides support and protection for thin soled, flat footed horses. No hand mixing. It adheres to the foot delivering Copper Sulfate to the sole and frog. Thrush can be covered in one easy application eliminating the need for horse owners pick out the fee and apply daily thrush medications! It cures in less than one minute, locks into place, and promotes a strong seal greatly reducing sand and debris migrations into the sole. Equi-Pak CS may also be used as a preventative measure before thrush even begins! It, like all other products, should not be used in the presence of bleeding or white necrotic tissue. Impression Material Item # SSIM1.5 EDSS Sole Support Impression Material, Soft (Blue), 1.5 lb SSIM1.5P EDSS Sole Support Impression Material, Regular (Pink), 1.5 lb Cures to a rubber-like consistency. The blended material is placed in the bottom of the foot with a pad taped over it. A mold is made when the horse stands on the Impression Pad. After the material has cured it can be trimmed away from the sensitive areas and placed back in the foot under the shoe and pad. Support is transferred through the pad evenly to the frog, bars and sole. The soft blue material won’t end up hard like the regular can.
