L. Possehl & Co. mbH is a management holding company based in Lübeck, Germany. Under our leadership, there
were approximately 4,300 people employed worldwide during the reporting period, working in about 50 various
companies toward the joint success of the Group. Our subsidiaries are divided into three core business segments:
Production, Trading and Services. They are each extremely independent in their market operations. In 2005, the
Group achieved annual sales of € 809 million, with profi t from ordinary operations totaling € 36 million.
