<strong>Australian</strong> <strong>Diabetes</strong> <strong>Council</strong> is a non-profit, non-government charity dedicated to helping all<br />
people with diabetes. It provides:<br />
• education programs<br />
• conducts public awareness campaigns<br />
• funds research into diabetes management and the search for a cure<br />
• advocacy, (protecting the rights of people with diabetes).<br />
<strong>Australian</strong> <strong>Diabetes</strong> <strong>Council</strong> has a network of branches and support groups to provide<br />
support and encouragement for people affected by diabetes.<br />
Our Customer Care Line has diabetes educators, dietitians and exercise physiologists available<br />
to provide personalised and practical assistance to benefit people with diabetes and their<br />
carers.<br />
