3.13.2 Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC)<br />

The TMR system has been designed and tested to withstand normal levels of<br />

conducted and radiated electromagnetic interference and electrostatic discharge.<br />

Electrical noise conditions may vary greatly, depending on the equipment<br />

installation, wiring, other installed equipment, and its proximity to the TMR<br />

equipment. A detailed analysis of the installation electrical and magnetic conditions<br />

is rare. It is therefore necessary to ensure that the system as a whole <strong>com</strong>plies<br />

with the client’s requirements or appropriate standards; within Europe, the CE mark<br />

requirements form a legal minimum. For systems for applications outside Europe it<br />

is re<strong>com</strong>mended that at least the same measures be applied, and confirmation<br />

sought from the client or end-user that electromagnetic interference (EMI) levels<br />

shall not exceed of those shown in Table 9.<br />
