Motivation and opportunity of the professional master SENT
In this activity, man increasingly uses sophisticated products, advanced machines and complex
systems.
At the same time, he has to be more secure in his job and should better protect his environment. Risk
control and their preventions, require people who can identify them, evaluate, propose solutions to
decision makers and participate in the implementation of the chosen measures.
Objectives of the professional master “SENT”
Future holders of the professional masters “SENT” have to:
Acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills about the job of business manager and
consultant in health and work safety.
Know the policy of preventing occupational hazards, as well as institutions and relevant
departments in the area.
Master the theoretical and methodological foundations necessary for the professional practice
of hygiene and safety.
Enable the diploma holders to acquire the means to cope with future developments in
professions and trades, control the development of their careers and meet the needs for
additional skills.
Conditions of admission in the professional master ‘SENT”
The admission into professional master SENT is conditioned by the possession of one the following
diplomas on their equivalents:
Engineering diploma;
Master Degree;
High-specialized studies certificate;
Complementary specialized studies certificate.
Supervision of the professional master “SENT”
The pedagogical staff of the professional master SENT companies:
Experts in ENT;
Engineers and business executives;
Academics from engineering schools.
The partnership with companies will be strengthened throughout the course of study with group works,
mini-project, seminars, conferences and testimonies from companies’ managers and mainly the

mandatory training which will serve Professional Master Pedagogy as a support for the preparation of
the “Professional Thesis”.
To alternate theoretical and practical teaching, the course of studies includes:
Lectures;
Case studies;
Research work in groups and presentations;
Seminars and lectures;
Thematic meetings with professionals of the major activity sectors concerned;
Workshops, practical work and mini-projects;
Companies visits.
Detailed curriculum and number of hours of the professional master: Enterprises
Security ‘SENT”
The formation of the professional master Enterprises Security SENT comprises 360 teaching hours
in from of modules of 20 hours each. The course of studies comprises:
A common teaching including the module of corporate culture, the telecommunication
module, the C2i module (organized exclusively at distance),Development and management
of the quality and innovation module and the module of English of the preparation for the
TOEFL.
Mini-project, personalised work, seminars and factory visits.
A professional project about a concrete case.
All the modules last 20 hours and they will be organised into four-hour sessions; in addition to that 2-
hours assessment in form of exams and personalized work, organised exclusively on Saturdays
morning. The courses will be held in ENIS and exclusively on Saturdays afternoon (13h-16h00 +
16h15- 18h15) and Sundays morning( 8h30 – 11 + 11h15 – 13h15).

Groupware, international cooperation and e-learning in the services of the
professional master “SENT”
Since September 2002, all the professional master’s students of ENIS have benefited from the use if
the groupware which has helped planning communication, information exchange, the sharing of
electronic documents and files, seminars planning, the chatting and discussions, the mailing, etc…
Ever since the 2005-2006 academic year, a WIFI space has been made at the professional students
disposal, all the specialities confused , in the lecture rooms entrance hall for an access et the
weekend.
We have also other WIFI locations (library, departments, and storeys of the teaching building) for an
access during the working days of the week.
At present a groupware is functional:
< http://www:enis.rnu.tn/cri/index.php> for an access from the intranet and the internet to the users
sessions. On the other hand, more than 50% of the modules of the Professional Master “SENT” will
be insured by experts from outside ENIS together with visiting professors coming from foreign
countries.
