Fujitsu's Storage Management Software ETERNUS SF
reduces total cost of ownership by managing the
operation of ETERNUS DX disk storage systems
throughout the data's lifecycles. For today's
complicated storage environments, ETERNUS SF
helps to achieve business continuity and optimizes
storage resources in complex IT environments.
ETERNUS SF EXPRESS
ETERNUS SF Express is bundled with ETERNUS DX
entry level disk storage systems to simplify storage
system management and maintenance. The software
helps to monitor multiple ETERNUS
DX60/DX80/DX90 disk storage systems with one
centralized console. In addition to that, ETERNUS SF
Express manages Advanced Copy functions of the
storage system for snapshots and clones with a
simple management console. In business continuity
scenarios, the management software supports
remote replication between ETERNUS DX90 disk
storage systems. Overall, the storage management
software ETERNUS SF Express simplifies operation
and maintenance to leverage more enterprise
features of ETERNUS DX entry level disk storage
systems – The Data Safe.

CENTRAL MANAGEMENT OF MULTIPLE ETERNUS DX DISK STORAGE SYSTEMS
ETERNUS SF Express provides an ease-of-use GUI which focuses on the objects
and tasks relevant to users. Its use of a resources tree-structure with status
summaries, detailed information on components and events, fully visualizes the
status of multiple ETERNUS DX disk storage systems on a single
easy-to-understand screen.
For users installing storage systems for the first time, ETERNUS SF Express
provides an easy to use wizard setup panel. This ensures that all settings
including connection of the ETERNUS DX disk storage systems with all application
servers is simple and straightforward and all parameters are completed.
RELIABLE DATA PROTECTION
The server independent snapshot/clone function of ETERNUS DX disk storage
systems provides simple data protection options with minimal impact on business
applications. The snapshot function in particular allows multiple snapshot
generations to be stored on a small amount of drive space, while full drive clones
can also be generated and managed.
ETERNUS SF Express provides the easy way to setup the required snapshots and
clones on the ETERNUS DX disk storage system.
DISASTER RECOVERY WITH REMOTE COPY
ETERNUS DX90 disk storage system’s remote replication function enables data to
be moved between multiple ETERNUS DX90 disk storage systems without server
intervention.
SIMPLE AND CLEAR COPY CONTROL
Intuitive Windows-like interfaces simplify copy control settings and management.
Use of a Wizard simplifies setup of the storage-based copy functions on ETERNUS
DX disk storage systems.
