NOILE TEHNOLOGII ÎN FORMAREA ŞI UTILIZAREA LISTELOR ELECTORALE. EVOLUŢII ŞI PERSPECTIVE
into consideration that it is a huge project which except for a plan and program
requires formal completion of the procedure for taking over the employees as
well as new software for management of the Voters list and financial means for
its implementation, currently the project is in a phase of a standstill. Its implementation
shall continue at the moment of transfer of the employees from the
Ministry of Justice to the State Election Commission.
Besides human resources the State Election Commission also needs technicaltechnological
resources for successful management of the Voters list. Here the
issue regards finding proper software solution – information technology support
for the Voters list. The so far technical-technological solution for update of the
Voters list is outdated and does not correspond to the needs of its ongoing update
imposed by the development of technology. This leads to the need of establishing
a new system of updating that will include new more sophisticated technological
solutions and network connection with the regional departments.
Taking into consideration that the taking over of the Voters list, its clearing, update
and proper management is of extreme significance for the State Election
Commission and also for the election system of the Republic of Macedonia as
a whole, and also considering that such type of model where the State Election
Commission has all the authorizations over the Voters list is rare in the world,
every support and cooperation by the members of ACEEEO would be of big significance.
