NOILE TEHNOLOGII ÎN FORMAREA ŞI UTILIZAREA LISTELOR ELECTORALE. EVOLUŢII ŞI PERSPECTIVE 153<br />
• Main data on adult BiH citizens are taken over from the records of IDDEEA<br />
(name, last name, date of birth, ID number, address, and municipality of permanent<br />
or temporal residence)<br />
• Additional data must be directly determined in municipalities (polling station<br />
for every voter), in person from persons who are temporarily residing abroad<br />
(address abroad)<br />
Active registration remained in force only for voters living outside BiH<br />
• Having in mind that citizens who live outside BiH cast their vote by mail, it is<br />
necessary for them to confirm their registration (address abroad and identity)<br />
• It is also necessary to submit any changes in the data if the latter were not<br />
submitted to bodies competent for civil registry.<br />
Use of excerpt from the Central Voters’ Register<br />
• Central Voters Register is a record on BiH citizens having the right to vote in<br />
accordance with the BiH Election Law and it is design, kept and used for:<br />
• organization and administration of elections in accordance with the law;<br />
• for administering referendums,<br />
• for conducting recall procedure for an elected official and elections of bodies<br />
of local self-government in accordance with the law<br />
• Central Voters Register and excerpt from the CVR are public.<br />
Publishing data from the Central Voters’ Register and display of its content to the<br />
public is done taking care of personal data protection principles, and in accordance<br />
to the Law on protection of personal data.<br />
