Sarawak and a warm
welcome!
Over the years Sarawak has been
experiencing increasing visitors and
investors to the state due to the warm
nature of the people, safe environment,
excellent weather and wide choices of
business opportunities here. Of particular interest to many
foreign investors is naturally the SCORE (Sarawak Corridor
of Renewable Energy) which makes possible all these various
new industries taking advantage of the massive clean and
green hydro power from our dams.
Another transformation is also being pursued in our capital
city, Kuching where the municipalities of Kuching City North
and South are putting in place programmes that will make
the city vibrant, sustainable and livable, alive with soul and
vigour. Much of these initiatives are driven by the close
cooperation between residents and business enterprises of
the city with the municipalities and together striving for a
clean, healthy, safe and friendly one where people from all
races, ethnic origins and religions can live in harmony. It is
no wonder that Kuching continue to attract repeat visitors
as the warm and friendly nature of the residents make it a
beautiful place to relax, enjoy and play.
Do not forget to visit all the other interesting towns and
city of Sarawak as the attractiveness of the state should be
experienced everywhere. More importantly, try out the many
different cuisines of Sarawak arising from the multi ethnic
diversity of people in the state in all the different places of
your visit!
