Chairman’s special thanks
On behalf of the ETTA my special thanks
go to my Board who have served our
great sport over the last 10 years in a
dedicated and committed way, working
long voluntary hours for table tennis.
To all the committee chairmen and
committee members whose commitment
and dedication to our sport, despite the
workload, has been done professionally
and selflessly.
In recent years all NGBs have faced
and continue to face a changing
environment, with additional
requirements from the Government
and its funding partners, in terms of
governance, monitoring and reporting
to them the agreed outcomes, which
our volunteers take on board to ensure
that table tennis continues to grow and
prosper.
To the hardworking ETTA staff and
in particular to Richard Yule, our
Chief Executive, and I wish him well
in his retirement, for his significant
contribution and efforts with our funding
partners Sport England, UK Sport and
the Youth Sport Trust. His contribution
and that of all the staff has made a
significant difference to the
successful growth and development of
table tennis across England.
To our trade suppliers and local
councils, especially Joola, Butterfly,
Sheffield, Hull, Liverpool and Preston
Councils, together with additional
partners such as the Jack Petchey
Foundation, Fred Perry and the Premier
League football clubs, for their financial
support and assistance over the last 12
months on behalf of table tennis.
Last but not least are our volunteers
and technical officials working at club,
league, county, regional and national
level every day on behalf of our sport
and its members. Without these
volunteers our great sport could not
function so my thanks, and I am sure
yours, thanks go to them all.
