5.1.7 The way forward for our sport
is to ensure there is a strong
pathway to enable participants
from many of our initiatives such
as PremierLeague 4Sport to
continue to improve and develop
through a strong club system.
5.2 PremierClub & Premier League
4 Sport (PL4S)
5.2.1 PremierClub membership
over the last four years – this
season we took the strong
decision to cleanse the ETTA
PremierClub programme. A large
number of clubs have sat on
the programme for a number of
years. Unfortunately they have
not submitted up-to-date yearly
affiliation data, fully adopted
Individual Membership or even
renewed their annual PremierClub
affiliation fees for every season.

has proved very useful especially

5.2.2 Clubs were contacted and notified
on three occasions throughout
the season that they will lose their
PremierClub status if they did not
renew their membership and pay
their affiliation fees.

5.2.4 Although the number of clubs
has now dropped dramatically
on the programme, the overall
membership figures have shown
an increase on the previous
season’s figures.
5.2.5 Further improvements to the
Clubmark accreditation process
have been made including offering
the opportunity for clubs to
accredit by submitting verification
online.

season has increased the number
