1. Operations<br />
1.1 Staff Changes<br />
1.1.1 Regional Development Managers<br />
• Shaun Marples left his role of<br />
RDM Yorkshire on 5th April<br />

Pathway Coach for <strong>The</strong> British<br />
<strong>Table</strong> <strong>Tennis</strong> <strong>Association</strong><br />
for people with Disabilities<br />
(BTTAD).<br />
• Tony Taylor retired from his role<br />
of RDM North East on 31st<br />
March 20<strong>13</strong>.<br />
• Tom Browne took over from<br />
Andrea Holt as RDM North<br />
West from 7th January 20<strong>13</strong> for<br />
maternity cover.<br />

• Alison Broe left her position as<br />
RC South on 31st May 20<strong>12</strong><br />
and Aled Howell took over from<br />
16th July 20<strong>12</strong>.<br />
• Brian Kean took over from<br />
Katy Parker as RC North West<br />

Paul Cornell on 23rd July 20<strong>12</strong>.<br />

team as Assistant National<br />
Competitions & Events Officer<br />

1.1.7 Finance Department<br />
• Kara Heritage joined on 17th<br />
April 20<strong>12</strong> as a part-time<br />
Finance Assistant.<br />
• Kathryn Scully left the position<br />
of Finance Assistant on 3rd<br />
August 20<strong>12</strong> and was replaced<br />
by Kara Heritage (now fulltime).<br />
• Jane Judges joined on 3rd<br />
September 20<strong>12</strong> as a part-time<br />
Finance Assistant.<br />

• Richard Yule relinquished<br />
the additional role of Interim<br />
Performance Manager on 1st<br />
September 20<strong>12</strong>.<br />
• Jon Pett changed roles on 7th<br />
September 20<strong>12</strong> from Coach<br />
Education Manager to ETTA/<br />
BTTF Performance Manager &<br />
Head of Workforce.<br />
• Maria de Battista joined as a<br />
National Coaching Assistant (as<br />
an intern) on 30th September<br />
20<strong>12</strong>, having also worked a few<br />
weeks in June/July 20<strong>12</strong> as<br />
Development Assistant.<br />
1.2 Honours<br />
1.2.1 As adopted at the 1990/1 <strong>Annual</strong><br />
General Meeting, the list of<br />
honours bestowed on members<br />
will be announced at the <strong>Annual</strong><br />
General Meeting. A list of awards<br />
issued this administrative year is<br />
shown towards the end of this<br />
report.<br />
1.3 Board of Appeal<br />
1.3.1 We have not had any appeals<br />
during the year and no appeals<br />
are outstanding.<br />
1.3.2 <strong>The</strong> ‘Terms of Reference’ of the<br />
Board have been rewritten in more<br />
specific detail but there is no<br />
change. An amended Appendix<br />
‘O’ (Board of Appeal Regulations)<br />
showing the ‘Terms’ is in draft.<br />
