Welcome to the tapestry of sacred sounds woven by the nuns of Gyantse. Recorded live in the
nunnery, you will hear natural sounds in the environment during the rituals. Some sounds could
not be removed, so they were left as part of the experience. In Tibet — all life is seen as sacred.
You will hear the sounds of others in the nunnery — pilgrims making their own prayers, ancient
doors opening and closing, a bird in the rafters.
Most of us are familiar with the Tibetan Monks and their chants — come to find out, the women
of the Gyantse Nunnery have their own sound. The Sound Healing Foundation is proud to
present the nuns of Lhatse Ani Gompa, raising their voices in sacred chants that are profoundly
transformative and healing. Recorded live in Tibet by Tom Kenyon and Judy Sion, this 2-CD set
is filled with frequencies that transmute negativity, raise consciousness, inspire peace,
magnetize all that is good, and offer praise for all life, everywhere. Played anytime, these
vibrations seem to alter one's perception of self and induce an atmosphere of calm and serenity.
With the divine feminine beginning to reawaken it is fitting that the nuns have found a way to let
their voices be heard beyond the walls of the nunnery for the first time in history. This recording
is a unique milestone — and we can thank Tom and Judy for their efforts to include the female
vibration in the spiritual equation. If sacred sound is something that you use to remind your self

(Gyantse Nunnery) recorded live in Tibet. This CD is the first in a series with proceeds
directly benefiting the nunneries.
Unheard until now, this is an effort toward bringing the sounds of the nuns, the women,
to a place of equality. Like golden spirals of sound, the chantings of the nuns are deeply
evocative, profoundly transformative and healing.

The worship service of the Gods, with horns, drums and voice. This invokes the great
teacher, asking for the removal of negativity, ignorance, unconsciousness, disrespect,
and the excess of delusion. These are prayers for peace in all realms and peace for all
sentient beings.
CD - 2 Green Tara Puja - The Tara Ceremony 35:41
The Ani las chant an imagined mandala offering flowers, incense, butter lamps, food,
music, precious jewels, beautiful skies, and clear peaceful waters to Tara. Born from a
holy lotus, Green Tara is the Victorious Lady of Compassion, the Swift Protector, the
savioress who banishes fear, offers relief from bad karma and is praised by all spirits.
She alone has the power to command the guardians of the foundation of the universe.
All kings of the gods, deities and beings serve her.
This also includes a prayer to the 21 Taras.
