are relatively not so sensitive on roots.<br />

Recipes 425 and 601 are also available for clay as an additive to further increase<br />

water holding capacity (at an additional cost).<br />

Initially, recipe 612 was meant for smaller pot sizes; however, most growers<br />

prefer recipe 614 also for the smaller pots.<br />

It is not uncommon for Bromeliad growers to prefer an adjusted pH to either<br />

4.5 or 5.0 in H20 (since this is an exception from the standard, it comes at a<br />

higher price).<br />
