have been recognized among the leaves population of this taxon. A considerable number of
fronds are still under identification.

Objective

Sorting, idcntification and photodocumentation of Dicroidium Icaves were carried
out. Taken out their peels, macerated and prepared their slides for microscopic study. The
morphotaxonomic and cuticular study shows four types of species, viz., Dicroidium
nidpurensis, D. gopadensis, D. papillosum and D. odontopteroides. Prepared about 50 textfigures
and the work has been compiled and documented.
