for the projects on which various scientists are working. Under tbis programme<br />
following three <strong>Birbal</strong> Salmi Research Scholars have delivered their lectures on :<br />

"Palaeocene palynostratigraphy <strong>of</strong> Meghalaya" (on August<br />
25, <strong>1995</strong>).<br />
The <strong>Institute</strong> sponsored a 65 days "Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Course in Geology" at the<br />
Geology Department, Lucknow University, Lucknow from 28 May-29 August, <strong>1995</strong> for the<br />
