Visited around Zinna and Siohari (Rohtas Limestone Fomlation, Semri Group)<br />

and Bainkuiyan (Lower Shander Limestone Fomlation) exposed around the Khemri­<br />

Kotar Hill, Satna District, Madhya Pradesh.<br />

Visited Archaean beds exposed at NoanlUndi and Barbil areas for the collection <strong>of</strong><br />

chcrts, rocks showing geological and organo-sedimentary structures.<br />

Visited Cretaceous-Tertiary localities <strong>of</strong>Tiruchirapalli District, Tamil Nadu. in<br />

all, about 120 samples <strong>of</strong> coralline limestones were collected from Ariyalur, Kallankurchi,<br />

Anandvadi. Niniyur, Sendurai, Peryarkurchi. Mattur, Ottakovil, Varagur, Dalmiapuram.<br />

Chokkanathapuram and Radyapalam. The Iithocolumns were measured properly in the<br />

mines or in the outcrop sections and the samples were collectcd rcspectively.<br />

Visited sequences <strong>of</strong> Carboniferous and Pennian <strong>of</strong> the Upper Silesian Coal<br />

Basin and the Lublin Coal Basin <strong>of</strong> Poland and Czech Republic during pre-Congress-13th<br />

ICCP field trip. Collectcd Lower Pennian and Carboniferous plant fossils from fresh<br />

water limestone deposits <strong>of</strong> Kaniowiee outcrop and from bore-core samples at DPB Company,<br />

Paskow.<br />
