Audit Report to the Governing Body of
Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, Lucknow
We have audited the attached Balance Sheet of Birbal Salmi Institute of Palaeobotany,
Lucknow, as at 31st March, 1996, and the Income and Expenditure Account and Receipts &
Payment Account for the year then ended and report that subject to our comments as given in
ArUlcxure 'A' to this Report :
In our opinion and to the best of our information and according to the explanations
given to us the said accounts give a true and fair view:
(i)
In the case of Balance Sheet, of the State of affairs of the Institute as at 31st
March, 1996.
(ii) In the case of Income and Expenditure Account, of the excess of income
over expenditure for the year then ended, and
(iii)
In the case of Receipts and Payment Account, of the receipts and payments
of Institute for the year then ended.
