Party time at Odfjell Terminals (Rotterdam)

Zeger van Asch van Wijck starting the
celebrations
Yes, it has been five years already since
Odfjell acquired its Rotterdam terminal.
A lot has happened and changed in
the meantime, but that’s not what this
story is all about. On March 5th, Odfjell
Terminals (Rotterdam) celebrated its
fifth anniversary. PARTY TIME!!!

Turner’s “Simply the Best”.
After this spectacular opening, the
crowd was asked to move to the first
floor of the building, where – in four
different halls – all kinds of exiting
entertainment was brought to the
Odfjell employees and their partners.
A band playing dance and rock classics,
a salsa band, workshops on salsa dancing,
karaoke in a typical, dusky but
cozy Dutch pub, a blacksmith producing
a memorial medal on the spot, and
much more. Around midnight, everyone
was invited to attend the Grand
Finale in the main hall downstairs.
About one hour later, we all headed for
home after a very cheerful party.

the partygoers for their enthusiasm,
making this evening a great success.
The event, with close to 400 attendants
teaming up, was held at an old fortress
in Geertruidenberg in the south of The
Netherlands. Just after the last people
arrived, Mr. Zeger van Asch van Wijck
welcomed the crowd and got the
celebration started. The first act was a
percussion band, playing on empty
oil-drums – how appropriate – really
stirring up the audience. A little later a
female artist accompanied them, giving
People in party-mood, enjoying the "Odfjell blue" drinks.
