ASSOCIATION REPORTS<br />
<strong>SCMAF</strong> BAY AREA/SOUTHEAST– Tim Grierson, Carson & Mark Flores, Lynwood<br />
The new BASE logo was created and will now be put on everything.<br />
BASE budget has been finalized and submitted for approval to the board.<br />
The Bay Area and South East bank accounts have now been merged thanks to the help<br />
and coordination of Tim Ittner. The signees have been updated on the account and the<br />
account will keep the name <strong>SCMAF</strong> South East until all the checks have been used up.<br />
Next General membership meeting will be in South Gate on Tuesday, March 12, 2013<br />
and the <strong>SCMAF</strong> office will talk about the TULIP program and other services they can<br />
provide, and Manuel Cantu will talk about how to setup a Futsal program for your<br />
agency.<br />
City of Carson will be hosting the Hershey’s Track and Field games on Saturday, June<br />
8, 2013. There will be a pre-qualifier on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Both events are free.<br />
This will be a great opportunity to promote the <strong>SCMAF</strong> BASE Association meet and the<br />
<strong>SCMAF</strong> final. Talk to Kenny Harris, City of Carson, for more information.<br />

Strategic Planning Consultant RFP- The Strategic Planning Consultant Services RFP<br />
proposals are due Thursday, March 7 th . The review committee will meet on March 20 th<br />
to select the top firms to make a presentation to the <strong>SCMAF</strong> Board in April.<br />
2013 Goals & Objectives- Kevin Ellis highlighted the major themes for the 2013 Goals<br />
& Objectives.<br />

Team to review the 2012 4 th Quarter. Ralph Aranda was added to the committee on a<br />
motion by Dave Dill, seconded by Tim Grierson.
