CONDITIONS<br />

• The cost of the upgrade will be calculated for each single flight-segment, for example for a<br />

one way flight from Tel Aviv to New York with a paying ticket in Y, B, M, H classes: Tel Aviv-<br />

Rome=15,000 miles (AZ3) + Rome-New York= 25,000 miles (AZ5), total amount= 40,000<br />

miles.<br />

• For the upgrading from Classica - Economy Class to Classica Plus - Premium Economy Class<br />

and from Classica - Economy Class to Ottima/Magnifica - Business Class, tickets purchased<br />

(from all sales channels) in the Y, B, M and H, or K, V, T booking classes are considered valid;<br />

miles amount requested changes according to the ticket purchased. For the upgrading from<br />

Classica Plus – Premium Economy Class to Magnifica – Business Class, tickets purchased in<br />

the P booking class are considered valid.<br />

• Members can request the upgrade to upper class on flights (even if one way trips) operated by<br />

the airlines of the <strong>Alitalia</strong> group.<br />

• The upgrade must be requested after the ticket has been issued.<br />

• Beneficiary of this service is the member himself and/or a person designated by him. Economy<br />

ticket must be issued with the correct name and in the classes of service mentioned before.<br />

• Seats on board are limited. Waiting list upgrade is not permitted.<br />

• Once the ticket has been issued miles used for upgrade will not be refundable and changes of<br />

itinerary and/or dates and/or are not allowed.<br />

• The miles earned on the flight taken are those established for the fare originally purchased by<br />

the member.<br />

• The number of miles required for requesting an upgrade, as shown in the chart, is valid until<br />

31/12/2012.<br />

• The destinations shown in the chart may be subject to variation following operative changes to<br />

the <strong>Alitalia</strong> flight schedule.<br />

• For all that is not expressly set forth in these Regulations, the award ticket user conditions in<br />

the Regulations of the MilleMiglia Program will be held valid.<br />

• You can ask for an upgrade:<br />

- at <strong>Alitalia</strong> local Office, opening hours, up to 1 day before departure<br />

- at <strong>Alitalia</strong> Ticket Offices, the same day of departure*. We suggest to show up at the airport<br />

before the foreseen check-in time-limit deadline. Time-limits to request this service depend on<br />

your flight:<br />

• 1,5 hours in advance for flights within Italy, except for flights leaving from Rome<br />

Fiumicino that require passengers to arrive 2 hours before flight departure<br />

• 2 hours in advance for international medium haul flights<br />

• 5 hours in advance for international long haul flights<br />

The ticketing offices in some of these airports may request a ticketing charge, that varies<br />

according to the departure and arrival points.<br />

- Upgrade confirmations are subject to the on-board seat availability. Confirmation of upgrades<br />

to Magnifica Class is also subject to the availability of the meal service.<br />

• Should the applicant be someone other than the MilleMiglia account holder, when the Award<br />

Ticket is issued, a copy of the travel document will be sent to the e-mail address or fax number<br />

recorded in the profile of the account-holding member, as well as to the address provided by<br />

the beneficiary. If no e-mail or fax contacts have been entered in the account-holding member’s<br />

profile, it will not be possible to issue Award Tickets in the name of beneficiary customers (that<br />

is to say, individuals other than the account-holding member).<br />

• Whenever an Award Ticket is issued in the name of a beneficiary, i.e. a customer other than<br />

the MilleMiglia account holder, the beneficiary must be in possession of full documentation<br />

relating to the award ticket when effecting check-in operations: i.e. travel document, personal<br />

identity document, authorization written and signed by the account-holding member, photocopy<br />

of the personal identity document and MilleMiglia Card of the account-holding member.<br />
