Quality is the prerequisite for products that
have to withstand extreme conditions. voestalpine
Tubulars started its production of high
quality seamless tubular products in 1980.
Today the mill is operating at the highest technological
standards. For example: A sophisticated
energy management system ensures
an optimal allocation of temperature prior to
the rolling process. The reason: Constant temperature
is essential for the uniformity of the wall
thickness of a pipe. The benefit: A consistent
wall thickness and concentric inside and outside
diameters. The advantage for the user:
Even distribution of operational stresses and
uniform mechanical properties. In addition,
this system ensures efficiency and the optimal
input of environmental resources.
From the billet to the pipe, the customers can
trust the quality. The pipe production process
starts with best raw materials. Production data
measurements in real time provide possibilities
for detection of manufacturing failures
before they occur. All pipes are inspected full
length, inside and outside, longitudinally and
transversely by non-destructive testing methods.
The inspection results are analyzed consistently
and serve as the foundation for continuous
improvements in production. Our quality
management system encompasses all parts of
the company. The name of voestalpine Tubulars
stands for modern equipment and efficient
processes.
Our commitment to quality is based on reproducible
processes, modern automation solutions
and efficient inspection methods.
In addition to the seamless tubular products
used in the drilling and completion of oil and
gas wells, voestalpine Tubulars produces Hollows
for redraw, Mechanical Tubes, Boiler and
Heat Exchanger Tubes, Pressure Tubes and
Line Pipe. These pipes are used in the Automotive,
Petrochemical, Construction, Mining, Tunnelling
and Fluid Transportation Industries.

VAsuperior ®
VAsuperior ® is a gas tight connection, developed
to meet the requirements according to
ISO 13679, CAL IV.
VAGT ®
is a gas tight connection with a metal to metal
seal. It is used internationally in both onshore
and offshore applications. VAGT ® – an excellent
product for operators requiring an enhanced
performance coupled with user friendly handling
and running procedures.
VAF
VAF is voestalpine Tubulars´ connection intended
for slim hole applications. The flush
O.D. design allows maximum clearance. The
metal to metal seal ensures gas tightness and
the hooked thread profile provides protection
against thread jump-out.
OTHER PREMIUM
CONNECTIONS
voestalpine Tubulars produces other proprietary
connections under license agreements.

HEAVY
UPSET PIPE
voestalpine Tubulars processing capabilities
include a large capacity upsetter. Coupled
with induction heating of the pipe ends, this
upsetter allows voestalpine Tubulars to upset
2-3/8 inch through 5-1/2 inch pipe. API tubing
upsets, drill pipe upsets, as well as upsets for
two-step connections can be tailored to the
customer s specifications.
DRILL PIPE
Plain end upset to grade drill pipe is produced
according to API 5D, available in standard and
proprietary grades.
ACCESSORIES
Pup Joints, Crossovers and Couplings as well
as other products are available on request.

in supplying hollows for the production
of precision steel pipes. We deliver hollows for
the production of mechanical tubing, gas or
oxygen cylinders, pipes for precision turned
parts and the automotive industry.
PRESSURE TUBES
AND LINE PIPE
These products are used to convey liquid and
gas media, which are often hazardous. Therefore,
the materials and manufacturing parameters
are carefully selected to accommodate
varied applications. Pressure Tubes and Line
Pipe according to API 5L, ASTM and ASME
and other international standards are used in
the oil and gas industry, for gathering lines,
cooling systems, gas and water lines, hydraulic
lines and several other applications.
BOILER AND HEAT
