IDP prior to the development of the final draft to be submitted to Council for approval before 30 June 2012. The 2012 / 2013 IDP Review The process undertaken to compile the IDP Review involved consultation with a wide range of stakeholders: • The IDP Road Shows were conducted in five nodal areas in November 2011 (see Annexure K for more information in this regard) • Meetings were held with IDP Stakeholders including the National Department of Energy, Departments within the KZN Provincial Government and the Zululand District Municipality • On 23 March 2012 a draft IDP Review for the 2012 / 2013 financial year was submitted to COGTA as part of the Peer Review and Evaluation process • On 28 March 2012 the Council of the Ulundi Municipality approved the First Draft of the IDP Review • Simultaneously, the general public and other stakeholders were informed that the IDP is open for comment and representation through the various media available to them • On 5 June 2012 an IDP Representative Forum meeting was held in Ulundi at which the content of the draft IDP Review was presented and the opportunity afforded to community members and stakeholders to make comment and provide further input • The final IDP Review document for implementation during the 2012 / 2013 financial year was approved by the Council of the Municipality on 27 June 2012 32
